Avionics Apprentice - Aircraft | Full Time 
  
Job Description​​

Dreaming of working in Avionics? AMI is looking for the right individual that wants to take their love of airplane​s​ to the next level. This position requires some background in wiring schematics and aircraft cockpit configuration.
Avionics Apprentice - Aircraft

Job Status: Full Time



Responsibilities
  • Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality and repetitious manor for aircraft installation.
  • Perform a variety of aviation electrical and fabrication processes to include but not limited to wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination and assembly.
  • Perform electrical wiring modifications to equipment removed from aircraft.
  • Routes and ties wires to form wire harness (cable) used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems
  • Inspect and/test wiring installations, assemblies or circuits for resistance factors.
  • Ensure work meets quality standards set by Company.
  • Complete all required paperwork for harness and component fabrication.
  • Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to read and understand Avionics and Electrical wiring diagrams
  • Able to work with shielded wire and coaxial cables.
  • Knowledge of various wire harness tools to include manual and pneumatic crimpers is preferred
  • Prior experience in harness and cabling fabrication.
  • Prior aviation electrical experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experienced with MS Office software.
  • ​Selected candidate will be sent off-shore for further training. ​
  • ​Must be a Marshall Island citizen.
Requirements of the Position

  • Ability to deal with deadlines and work-related stress
  • Continuous lifting max of 70lbs, carrying, pushing and/or pulling.
  • Constant stooping, kneeling, crouching and significant fine finger dexterity
  • 40/40 Sitting and/or Standing; 10% Walking

Inventory Clerk - Parts | Full Time 

Job Description

Work in a warehouse environment handling aircraft parts. Daily activities include use of a computer system for the receiving and issuing parts, driving a company vehicle. Ensures the accuracy of inventory in the warehouse by conducting Cycling Counts.

Responsibilities


• Record-keeping (computerized) and purchase order experience.
• Retail sales experience, especially in Parts Related Services and Industry.
• Strong computer proficiency in applications like MS Office, Web based systems and etc.
• Willingness/ability to work overtime and weekends including Sundays
• Must be reliable and responsible; and must have the ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements


• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Good communicator (written and oral)
• Experience in warehousing
• Experience working in a team environment
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 30 minutes.
• Ability to bend, knee, climb stairs.
• Must be a Marshall Island citizen.

Pilot- First Officer-Dornier 228

Job Status: Full Time

Qualifications


• Must have Commercial Fixed Wing Pilot License with an instrument rating.
• Minimum of 500 hours of total documented flight time.
• Minimum of 50 hours of fixed-wing multi-engine time.
• Hold a first-class medical certificate.
• Must be able to read, write, and fluently speak the English language.
• Great customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Promote and foster a safe and secure operating environment.




Pilot- Captain-Dornier 228

Job Status: Full Time


Qualifications

• Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Minimum of 2500 hours of total documented flight time.
• Minimum of 500 hours of Pilot in command.
• Hold a first-class medical certificate.
• Must be able to read, write, and fluently speak the English language.
• Great customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Promote and foster a safe and secure operating environment.
